Yankee Candle Sweet Nothings - Review

As you can see from the pictures I have tried the wax tart (but...spoiler alert...I have to admit I am thinking about buying a jar, but I want to try all the other new fragrances before).

As you can see from the pictures I have tried the wax tart (but...spoiler alert...I have to admit I am thinking about buying a jar, but I want to try all the other new fragrances before).
Let's start, as usual, with the Yankee Candle official description:
"Warm, soft, sweet - like a special whisper just for you.
Top notes: Cyclamen
Mid notes: Lotus blossom
Base notes: Vanilla, Powdery Musk, and Amber"
I have to say it: Yankee's marketing department (or whatever) really deserves the money. The description really fits: the scent is warm, is soft and is sweet, like a treat. Come on, just promote these poor guys that for a living need to summarise in two words scents that people (like myself) just spend paragraphs on!

Come on, just promote these poor guys that for a living need to summarise in two words scents that people (like myself) just spend paragraphs on!
So this scent should be like a concentrate of lovely whispers just for us...awwww...these marketing guys are so cute!
So let's burn this candle and enjoy its relaxed and sweet sensation!
According to the official description the top notes should be cyclamen. I can confirm that the first feeling is a floral one (even if I thought about violets, to be honest). Then...here come warmer and powdery notes (probably the amber), followed by a sweeter scent (vanilla?) giving the fragrance a captivating tone.
The scent fills the air and cuddles us like a caress. Like when you are commuting, on a rainy Monday morning, and an old lady sits next to you (if you are so lucky to have a sit!) with her old fashioned perfume...and it is like part of you is still at home with granny.
A lot of people compared this scent to a number of women fragrances (like Lancรดme and other brands) and this is true: it definitely remind of ladies' perfumes.
In my mind this is the perfect fragrance for enjoying a relaxing bath full of bubbles (maybe the label is compelling me...!).
Well, like granny used to welcome us after a long day of playtime, this fragrance is welcoming us today (just few years later for me...) after a long day in the office. Then, let's enjoy the sweet nothings whispered to our ears!
